Six months after breaking ground in the Flatiron District, the Berry Rock Building at 616 N. Walnut Ave has reached a major construction milestone. The structural framework is now fully rising from the site, and the building’s distinctive triangular geometry — designed by Rand Elliott, FAIA — is visible from blocks away for the first time.
Co-founder Nick Berry walked the site with Cameron Rock in mid-March, marking the halfway point of an 18-month build. “Seeing it come off the drawings and into the sky is something else,” Berry said. “Every floor up is a reminder of what this corner of the city is going to become.”
Structural Progress
Lingo Construction has completed the foundation and lower levels, with vertical framing now underway on the upper floors. The site’s triangular footprint — one of the most recognizable aspects of Rand Elliott’s design — has begun to define the skyline at the northern gateway to downtown Oklahoma City.
The building’s signature exterior treatment, including the prominent triangle installation visible from N. Walnut Ave, is already drawing attention from passersby and neighboring development teams.
What’s Ahead
Interior rough-in work is scheduled to begin in late spring, with tenant buildout planned for the third quarter of 2026. Berry Rock’s own homebuilding and mortgage operations, alongside anchor tenant Prism Bank, are expected to be among the first to occupy the space.
The building remains on schedule for a September 25, 2026 opening.
